Trainee Legal Executive

I came to Feldon Dunsmore fresh out of sixth form and undecided on whether university was the right path for me. Initially looking to gain some office experience as an administrator, I quickly realised that the world of law was pulling me in.

Working in the plot sales department has been a perfect match for me, giving me the all-important and basic skills that any lawyer needs. Two years later I’m now spending my evenings studying to be a Legal Executive with the end goal of becoming a solicitor. I pride myself on my neat freak tendencies and being a ‘champion of method’, as well as making a cracking cup of tea. Give me a messy pile of papers four storeys high to sieve through; organise and label and I’ll be the happiest Trainee Legal Executive in Coventry. Really.

I love to travel and aim to visit the 7 Wonders of the World by the time I’m 30. In my eyes there’s not much that can beat the feeling of exploring new places, sipping a cocktail on a beach, or having a boogie with the locals. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone this year and took part in the WOLF run, very muddy but lots of fun and I aim to make it an annual thing.

One word my colleagues would use to describe me is…

Meticulous

On a Sunday afternoon you can find me…

On the sofa with a mug of hot chocolate, although if anyone asks I’ll claim to be at the gym

The soundtrack to my life is…

We all know the ‘tidy up song’ from school, right?

If I won the lottery I would…

Tour America in a yellow Ford Mustang
