Feldon Dunsmore Kicks off Summer

After what seemed like a winter that would never end, summer finally seems to have arrived with the sun finally deciding to emerge from the clouds. At Feldon Dunsmore we’ve decided to tackle the summer season head on launching two inaugural events to kick off the season.

The first event taking place last week was the Feldon Dunsmore Match Day. Taking place at Cryfield Sports Pavillion the first match day saw our competitors go head to head in a game of rounders. The participants battled through the harsh conditions in the scorching sun in the hopes of claiming the illustrious Feldon Dunsmore Match Day Trophy (and more importantly the two bottles of champagne!).

At the end of a tough fought Match Day, it was the Team from Cadence Projects who took home the trophy so congratulations to them!

The Match Day was a great opportunity for those participating to expand their networking circle and build meaningful and fruitful business relations in a slightly different way from what could be considered a ‘traditional’ networking setting. Aided by the cloudless sunny sky and the seemingly endless supply of pizza to ensure everyone was sufficiently fuelled to participate, the event was a huge success and we hope that this will be the first of many Match Days to come.

Returning to the more ‘conventional’ events, this week also saw the launch of Feldon Dunsmore’s first Property Pulse: Young Professionals on the Rise. Coming off the back of Feldon Dunsmore’s long standing Property Pulse events, Young Professionals on the Rise was geared towards those professionals at the start of their careers and looking to build relationships that can hopefully last throughout their careers. It was a great way to introduce some to the world of networking, which I can appreciate can be a daunting challenge, in a relaxed and friendly environment full of professionals many of whom were also taking their first steps into the world of networking.

We saw a strong turnout of many young professionals who were all able to enjoy some good food, company and conversations under the glorious afternoon summer sun. It was fantastic seeing so many faces both familiar and new and we hope to see just as many, if not more, at the next instalment.
