Archie Arundell

Paralegal

Having grown up in Warwickshire, I moved down to Brighton where I graduated from the University of Sussex in 2022 with a first-class honours degree in Law.

My first exposure to the legal industry came while working at a real estate firm during my school years. At the time, I didn’t quite grasp the excitement surrounding the discovery of a 300-year-old title deed, it looked suspiciously like something I’d made for a history project using tea bags. However, over time, my appreciation for land law grew. At university, I was drawn to the practical side of the subject, learning about everyday issues like tenants' rights and navigating mortgages, the kinds of real-world essentials rarely taught in school, but vital all the same.

Since leaving university, I have gained experience in litigation across different firms and I’m now looking forward to developing my skills in transactional work. My inquisitive nature means I enjoy working closely with clients, helping them navigate key milestones, whether that be renting their first office space or investing in their first property.

Outside of work, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a major passion of mine. I have been training for over six years, and my enthusiasm continues to prove infectious as I convince more and more friends to join. I recently spent time living in Indonesia, where, alongside my studies, I enjoyed surfing, scuba diving, and training in Jiu-Jitsu.

If I won the lottery I would…

- Relocate my friends to costa Rica to surf and train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu everyday

My favourite place to visit…

- Italy, for the people, the food and the views…
