While studying A-Level Politics, Religious Studies and Psychology at Stratford Girls’ Grammar School, I developed a keen interest in law. Politics allowed me to explore legal systems, Religious Studies introduced me to ethical debate and Psychology helped me to evaluate different perspectives and understand the reasoning behind people's actions.
Alongside my A-Levels I also completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) entitled ‘Should Dark Tourism in Chernobyl continue?’. The EPQ required me to research complex topics, analyse evidence from multiple sources and produce a structured report. I found this topic fascinating as it led me to consider issues surrounding land use, redevelopment and the long-term impact of historical events on communities. This sparked an interest in how property and land are both managed and regulated, leading me to explore property law in greater depth.
During Sixth Form I undertook a work experience placement at Feldon Dunsmore Solicitors, whilst shadowing specialist lawyers I gained a valuable insight into commercial property law, and I became even more determined to pursue a career in property law. I was particularly drawn to the apprenticeship scheme as it offers the opportunity to gain practical experience from the outset, develop professional skills and contribute to client work while working towards a legal qualification.
Outside of work, I have a keen interest in athletics and have competed at both local and county level. I also enjoy baking and experimenting with new recipes.
