Mia Perrins

Paralegal

I graduated from the University of Exeter in 2023 with an LLB (Hons) Law degree.

My interest in property law was sparked during University, through my participation in a student-led rent review clinic and my volunteer work with the Citizens Advice Bureau, in my final year. I guided clients through landlord and tenant issues, working within a team to conduct legal research and draft concise, commercially accurate advice. I enjoyed the tangible nature of property work, being able to physically see the outcome of your work, but also how intellectually varied each matter was, with no two clients presenting the same challenge. These collective experiences alongside my work experience with Feldon Dunsmore in January 2024, affirmed my belief that property law was the area I wanted to practice in.

Throughout University, I undertook positions of responsibility within numerous pro-bono fundraising initiatives, including Support Through Court and Junior Lawyers against Poverty, which has helped me to understand the importance of legal representation. I look forward to developing these skills further as a paralegal at Feldon Dunsmore.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, going on long walks with my friends, family, and dog, and trying different restaurants and cuisines. I love to travel and am always looking out for new destinations to visit. I have also swam both competitively and casually for over 10 years, through which I have honed my ability to work well within a team and navigate demanding environments.

On a Sunday you will find me …

Nestled in Caffe Nero, with a coffee and a good book (currently reading Jane Austen’s Emma).

My favourite place to visit is …
